Make Sure It's Not You

Part of the role of being a spiritual worker is being a counselor to your clients. Sometimes people come to you because they want some sort of magic done, but after that first cleaning suppressed blockages begin to surface. Pandora's box is opened and it's time for the client to face their struggles so that they can grow.

You see, real magic is more than just the conjure. It's creating lifelong change, and to accomplish that change sometimes the spirits will prescribe cleanings in order to remove the unnecessary. For some people, this process can be arduous and confronting. How they react will oftentimes dictate the results they will receive.

Taking the Medicine

A client contacts me saying they are tired of being under appreciated and wants a new career. I tell them when to come by so that we can do the consultation and get the ball rolling. When I start pulling the cards I can definitely see difficulty at the workplace, but that the difficult is coming from their own mouth. They spend their work time gossiping and creating resentment amongst their coworkers. I inform them that the problem is coming from them and their response? "I never realized that I was upsetting people, can we still fix it?"

Naturally, I start doing the work to sweeten their current job, but more importantly I do the work to clean off the bad vibes from the agitated people off them. I warn the client that although the work has been done to smooth things over at the workplace that they must make a real effort to change their behavior. They agree and go on their way. A few weeks later things are much smoother at their job and they even got recognition for their project.

Be Honest About Yourself

Another client comes to me for a love and reconciliation spell with their recent ex. The cards immediately reveal that their are hard feelings coming from the ex. The ex saw the client as overbearing and jealous. I informed them that in order to successfully get their ex back these issues would need to be addressed. I received a cavalier attitude that said, "I can manage it with magic," from them. That's not to say that I felt they were insincere, but rather expected magic to do all the work for them.

I decided to take on the case although I lacked certainty in the long term outcome. The results manifested rather quickly, however, they certainly didn't last. That same pattern of behavior that made the relationship fall apart in the first place destroyed the new opportunities that were created.

Be Prepared to Grow

Taking a moral inventory is important when evaluating your life and happiness. When you are honest with yourself and work hard to improve, magic is much easier. If you try and fight the current you will only increase suffering for yourself. Although magic can alter circumstances for you in various degrees, it largely relies on you to hold on to it.

The next time a candle spell or sweet jar doesn't work out, stop and take an honest look at the role you played in the matter. Uncrossing and cleansing often helps release the psychic bonds that hold us back, but we ourselves must create the resolve to not fall back into those bonds.

Who Doesn't Need A Little Love?

The number one thing that clients come to me for is Love. Their lives can be burning down and they will still tell me that they need love. A mountain of unpaid bills, the verge of unemployment, and a car that just broke down yet love is the only solution for their woes! 

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not mocking anyone. I just want to point out a disease of spirit that many people suffer from: a sense of a lack of love. Many people develop this spiritual disorder from trauma in their childhood or even sheer neglect from their parents. Lacking any real bonding they go out into their adult lives often self-sabotaging their careers and relationships all in a desperate attempt to fill that void. 

I would know, because I was the exact same way. That's why I'm not going to lecture you about self-love and how love magic is wrong. In many cases it is necessary for people that suffer from certain spiritual issues. I will say that Love Magic is best for those in existing relationships that are having a challenging or difficult time, but that doesn't mean that the rest of us can't reap it's benefits.

For this reason I want to give you something to try. I'm not promising a cure, but I instead something to give you a chance to bring some sweetness into your life. Not everyone will get the same outcome, but you should have a positive result in terms of an improved love life.

You will need:

rose oil

patchouli oil

orris oil 

cinnamon oil

vanilla oil

Add several drops of each (except for the cinnamon oil which you should use sparingly) to a bath. Light a white candle for your ancestors and guardian spirits. Recite Psalm 111 over the bath and ask to have true love brought into your life. Afterward, perform the Middle Pillar ceremony and retire for the evening. Repeat for 7 nights.

Additionally, you can add a few drops of each ingredient to Florida water or a perfume of your choice. Recite psalm 111 over the perfume and apply it each day. It can take sometime for the oils to fully blend, so make sure to agitate the perfume daily.

Be Sweet to Me

Who doesn’t need a little sweetness in their lives? Whether it comes from family, friends, loved ones, or employers; there are times when we require certain people to be a little extra sweet to us. It may be that our relationship with an important individual to us has become a bit strained and we need to be able to resolve that situation in the smoothest way possible. Maybe the boss has extra cranky at the 

workplace and a little bit of breathing room is necessary to be comfortable at our jobs again. 

Whatever the reason, it’s important to know how to make someone sweet to us again.

Many so-called magicians object to using magic to “manipulate” others for our own desires, but then what else would magic be for? The pursuit of transcendental attainments, although theoretically appealing, tend to put us in conflict with the natural order of the universe. Without the important skills of subtle manipulation one might find themselves without a friend or ally. What good does your transcendental vision quest do for you if your boss fires you or you lose your network of support? And what is so wrong with making a love interest sweeter to you anyway? Some of us may lack natural charm and good looks, and a little bit of sweetness can go a long way.

Although there are numerous methods of sweetening others to you for a variety of reason, we are going to stick to methods that require few ingredients and simple methods. We need results, and we are on a budget. That is not to say that quality ingredients and refined methods don’t yield good results, but the confidence gained of achieving results with simple methods is important in evaluating one’s own skill.

This method will require the following: a small jar, a picture of the person to be made sweet, pure honey (make sure it is 100% natural honey), and a candle.

When you are ready to start, begin by lighting your candle.

Next, you will do the Kabbalistic Cross and follow with the Middle Pillar Ritual.

On the back of the picture you will write the following words: In the name of the spirits of my family father’s side mother’s side, I give you this sweet, so that you (insert person’s name) will be sweet to me and give me everything I want.

Place the picture in the jar so that the image is facing up. Pour honey in the jar as you recite the words you have written on the back of the paper, filling the jar to just below the brim.

Now, take the jar and the candle and present it to the four directions: east, west, north, and south. State your intentions clearly as you face each direction and ask that the spirit make this person sweet to you.

Place the candle and jar on your white tile or white plate where you do your ancestor ceremony.

At this point you can either allow the candle to burn down or begin to recite relevant psalms and prayers to aide your magic. I highly recommend using Psalms: 28, 31, 46, 47 for restoring relationships with friends and family, and using Psalms 47, 74, 132 for employers you are trying to sweeten. It doesn’t hurt to recite a Litany of the Saints as well when doing this sort of work. For an extensive lists of Psalms and prayers I recommend The Master Book of Psalms and The Book of Prayer by Jean Kent.

When you are done praying and the candle has burnt out place the jar of honey in your freezer. Continue your prayers and affirmations for the person to be sweet to you until you see a change in their behavior. Remember: Just because they are sweet does not mean that you can be abusive towards them! Be sweet yourself, and you will attract that behavior from others.

If you are seeking general love in your life, cut out a red heart and place it on your plate where you serve your ancestors. Try giving them some sweet honey and telling them to make your love life sweet for you.
